It's a licensing agreement. Agreeeement.
Trust? Yes, that's shattered... but not laws. I can't imagine Apple has laws written in every city, state and county courthouse. But I could be wrong.
I don't think it would stick either.
"If you use this software, you agree to all these terms"
Apple has 100% control on that one.
Again with the word "agree"
Is that like a handshake, a head-nod, or some other symbolic gesture?
I'm just trying to figure out how an agreement is the same thing as a law. And by breaking the EULA you are also breaking a law.
I mean, hell, OS X and iLife don't even have CD keys; its all on the honor system, even as far as trusting you to spend a few bucks extra for the "family" pack instead of a single computer version, or that you won't share your copy with friends who also want an upgrade (hint: most people do).
They are really lax as far as that kind of thing goes.
