This is still a WIP as I will be adding green lights to glow from underneath and to glow out the sides... Let me know how it looks so far!

Looks good. Can't wait to see it when it's complete.

Maybe vent the top in such a way that the light coming out looks like a glowing X as another possible mod.

im definately gonna do that to my controllers.... need to get a soldering iron though
 
What color did you paint it?

Also how did you get the leds under the jewel without a soldering iron?
 
yeah, how did you get lights under the xbox logo?? Also I modded a controller like that, and used a .3mm LED, but they arent as bright as yours are.....any tips?
 
The reason that your leds would be dimmer is because you don't have enough voltage running through them. You will need to break open the controller dongle again and make sure that your connections are good.

Also, if you didn't solder the leds in, that is probably the reason that they aren't bright.;)
 
would adding bits of plastic in the with LED make it look more like the photo? Also, is that a potential fire hazard of any sort?
