My Folding Rig is down

from what i could see that scratch didnt look too bad but as thin as those circuts are theres always a possibility. If you have tried it with all the original parts, then start removing parts one by one and see if you can atleast get the motherboard to work. You dont have to have a CPU, RAM, and video card for the motherboard to post. Well Ram and video card anyhow. Even without all those parts the boards power led should light up.
 
Yes, you do need a video card, RAM, and CPU to POST.

I believe what the above poster is trying to say is that you can turn it on without them, but it'll just bitch about having no CPU/RAM/Vid card.
 
have you tried the old original parts in some other comp to see if they are working right?
