Hi, all I have been tooling around on this site learning alot about computers, and I think Im ready for my first real project.
A case mod. I started off with an old Dimension XPS P133s case, yeah thats right a P1 @ 133.

The case is a standard ATX case, with ample size for a standard PSU and Ip35 pro mobo at least according to my mock ups.
My real concern is mounting the hard drives and the fans in the case, the outtake fan shouldn't be a problem, but the intake fans might prove to be a problem.
Basically I need to know where to get a hard drive cage from, and also where to get a good pop riveter, also mabey something to cut metal.

I have no idea what tools I need aside from spray pain and sandpaper. Also if anyone can recommend me a good quality spray paint.
I used Rustolium for a primer, and then used some of my brother's Montana Gold for the drive bay, I seemed like good stuff.
However I have a feeling that some cutting is going to be involved in the near future so it would seem I may have primed the case a bit early.

I'll be posting pics later today after I'm done with class.
Sorry for the poor quality of the images I only have a cellphone camera.

Here is a shot from the side with a PSU mounted for reference, I have no plans of using that CPU in any system I build.

Here is a shot from the front I still have to figure out how to cut this the right way and how to mount the fans.

And here is just a side view of the case.

for you HDD cage you can get some on performance-pcs.com, and for the tools, I would just check out your local hardware store like Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, but if they are in your area I would check at Harbor Freight they are pretty cheap on the there tools:D. For the paint I really dont know just have to find one that you like i guess...

Sweet thanks for the info I found a Lan Li HD replacement rack for the PCV 1000s should work really well.
Yeah I'm going to pop by Lowes Tuesday and see what I can find, I need to go there to go get some wood for a new desk im building ne way.

I know I'm getting 2 low speed 120mm Yates Loon fans for the case for the intake, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good 80mm fan for outtake. Also the low speed fans should be fine I would imagine.

Posted pictures finally, ordered all my parts and my spray paint so the case should be finished soon, now I just need to wait for the government check to buy that mobo and PSU. :D
