So yesterday after reading up on OCing i finally decide to give it a try, now i'm sitting on my AMD 2500+ running at 2.21Ghz. Anyone know how hi i can go with this puppy. Anyways just was happy with my progress so thought i'd put a little not up.

Is that a 2500+ desktop barton or mobile barton? If its a desktop, what fsb are you running at? That is what will determine your overclock. The highest I've heard a desktop barton go is about 2.4Ghz, with the average about 2.2-2.3. If you have the desktop, then you're about average for an overclock. I'm running a 2500+ mobile barton at 2.5Ghz, and the highest it goes is 2.6. I've heard of mobiles getting as high as 2.9, but they were using phase change coolers. :)

Well it is a desktop 2500+ so i guess i'm about maxing it. Cool, makes me warm and fuzzy inside. I guess thats what Ocing does to a person.

hey cool, so now when u goto "Properties" of "My Computer" does it say 3200+?
i remember one of my previous OC's and it went from say8ing 2800+ to 3200+ and i was like "oh cool! :D"

Yeah when i check properties now it does say 3200+. I'm trying to find a stable level to have it sitting at, anyone have various settings for FSB and multipliers that are stable for this cpu.
