Hey Guys,
Black Friday is right around the bend and I'm looking to put together my first HTPC.
Currently I have a Windows Home Server with about 6TB of Space and Data. I know I will be loosing the majority of this data when I move into the HTPC but I'm not stressing it.
My Main Goal of the HTPC is for it to sit in my Living room - Automatically download movies,series/episodes, and run PLEX Media Center w/ PLEX Media SERVER for my family members to access movies from their home devices. (Apple Tv's,iPads,PC's,Roku Media Streamers.)
The HTPC will also function a small server/cloud.
The Components I have are
16GB DDR Memory
ATX Power Supplies
LG BluRay Drive
Thermalpaste
Hardrives
What I need:
Case:
(I was thinking a Fractal MiniITX (on sale for 54 bucks from newegg)
Powersupply
CPU
MOBO
Video Card
Since I have pretty much a lot of things already.. I'm hoping to find a Case for under 60 - Power Supply for 60, CPU for 150, Mobo for 100.
I have Micro-center nearby and I don't care about online vendors or taxes. My Budget for a Case Mobo CPU GFX is $400 or less.
