This is going to be my first computer build, so I would like your opinions on it. If something is not compatable, or you think it is uneccessary or could be improved for about the same price, let me know. This will be used primarily for gaming and I will upgrade to a second video card when I can. I am going to get the Venice core when it comes out, but I have a Newcastle listed right now.

All that and XP home? Get Pro and then get the free upgrade to 64 when it is available. Good PSU choice though :D

Well I am getting Home because it is much cheaper, and at my university I can get an upgrade to Pro for only $5.00. What is the most important difference between Home and Pro?

right now XP-Home is fine, XP pro has a few network settings, remote login, and is dual processor aware, but the big draw to XP-Pro is that microsoft will give free upgrades for users of XP-Pro to Win XP Professional 64bit edition.
