ofcorse it is. Just install linux and fold fold fold. I've had mine folding for a long time. It gives it something to do while I'm not watching movies on it.

That is why I soldered on a few extra ram chips :-P

Yeh it was a real pain in the butt. 400 little pins to solder
On my first try my xbox wouldn't boot up. I got so pissed I had to walk away from it for a week or 2. Came back to it, reheated all the pins and it did the trick. Great little project.

i got 2 borgs this week. doing one tonight, too, and one tomorrow. here's what i have now. i'm getting up there.

2x opteron 246 2.0 GHz running 24x7 (mine)
pentium M 1.86 GHz running about 4 hrs/wk, and about 10 hrs/wk during school (mine)
athlon xp 1700+, running about 8 hours a week (mine)
pentium 4 1.8 GHz, running 8 hours a week (girlfriends laptop, borging tomorrow)
athlon64 3000+ running 24x7 (brother's comp, borging tonight)
athlon64 3500+ running 24x7 (friend's comp, borged tonight)
sempron64 3300+ running 24x7 (parents' comp, borged this week)

i dont know how, but before these computers were added, i seem to have significantly increased my ppd. the top computer is obviously my best performer, but everything else is recent. i'm not complaining.
