My FDD image/view will not refresh.Help!!

I know that this sounds nuts. My floppy drive will not change what you see on the monitor even when you change disks. Even if I power down my PC and unplug the power cord, power back up and change to a brand new disk, you still get the prior disk's view or image. Not a blank screen like you should from a clean disk.

Before today it was working OK. This just started today after I was having trouble uninstalling Norton AV. Norton's auto protect would never stay enabled so I wanted to fix that with a fresh install.

What in the world is going on here, this is so very strange.

I have already tried F5 but no worky.

Anyone with any knowledge of the problem????
