My E8500 has slow L2 cache?

I just ran the memory/cache benchmark in Everest and my results for the L2 cache seem pretty... off. They seem almost 1/2 as fast as others I've seen. Here they are:

this is running at 470x9.5

Read: 17785 MB/s
Write: 8980 MB/s
Copy: 22733 MB/s
Latency: 7.4 ns

Here is a comparison running 445x9.5:

Read: 28159 MB/s
Write: 19569 MB/s
Copy: 31161 MB/s
Latency: 4.7 ns

I've also seen people running higher FSBs than me with similar times to the 445 one so I'm not knowledgeable enough to say thats not the problem (i would think it should be faster?), but I wouldnt think so.

Any ideas?
