My power supply (Antec True550) died and killed my motherboard too (LanParty NFII Ultra B). I am RMAing both, and selling the Antec and get a PC Power and Cooling power supply. I have a Mobile 2500+, which overclocks to about 2.75Ghz. Now, here's the problem....I have a Prometeia Mach I. It is a pain in the ass to set up, and I only have enough seal string for one more application. I also have an SLK-900U with a 92mm fan, which I could use as well...but I'm not sure what I want to do.....

So which do you guys think I should go with? Use the SLK-900U and leave the Prometeia unused or the other way around?
 
I've tended to stay away from phase-change cooling because of the pain associated with mounting and changing the CPU. If you mod and overclock requiring frequent access to your hardware then you have to decide if the trouble associated with the Prometeia is worth it. If you have a monster overclock and don't want to give it up then the Prometeia is what you need.

Nothing is as easy and simple as air cooling. I've got water cooling and every once in awhile I think of the simple easy and noisy days when I used air cooling.

I think you're right, however I know I will want to use my Prometeia more in the future....is there something that has the same properties as seal string that could be purchased relatively cheap?

Ya, once you have a system that you might not want to change then the Prometeia would be the way to go. No sorry can't help with the seal string. Try posting in the extreme cooling forums here and other places, such as overclockers.com, and others where folks more experienced than I participate.
