I bought an athlon cpu a long time ago, when the lower voltage ones came out maybe a year or two ago. The other day I got a blue screen and just barely caught the error it gave me. The cpu has been overclocked since day one, and has been running at 2l2 ghz, never having heat temps about 43 degrees. The error from googling it says there is an internal error in the cpu, Now i get random errors everytime i close any program saying something at memory 0x000000000 Is the CPU about to die on me?

Why don't you try disabling your overclock?

yeah, have you tried running stock?
It sounds like an O/C error, or just not enough vcore, one of the two

I'll up the vcore a bit more, i've had wonderful results, and no i don't want to take it back to the stock speed of 1.4 Thanks for the help

a. if you're complaining about instability... TRY it at stock to see if you still have the same problems... then you will know what is causing the instability... Try loosening your mem timings, try upping the voltage to your chipset/ram/chip/all of the above

If you ask for help at least try taking some of the suggestions...

run
memtest86
prime95
and find out what's wrong.

If you don't want to spend any money on a new processor, then you may have to take it back to stock speed. Run it at stock and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, then you'll know the processor has just been pushed too far. If you do still have problems at stock speeds, then the processor is getting ready to take a dump.
