My Corsair Vengeance heatspreader came off, warranty?

Will I have any warranty now that my heatspreader has popped off on one of my sticks?

Mine did the same today and the stick died at the same time.

Just buy some thermal pads and stick them back on.

Ask Corsair at their toll-free number or the forum at their website?

If you try to repair this, other than by putting back the heatsink, you'll void the warranty, even if you use material that's better than Corsair's.

OTOH there's no harm in running the memory without the heatsink, and I'd rather do that than trust Corsair's inadequate tape.
