(All air cooled, room was fairly chilly i'd say 40-50 Fahrenheit)

Bclk = 210
Intel Speedstep = Enabled(for the extra multiplier)

Yeah CPU voltage is pretty high, it seems 1.5v+ is need for stable superPI, could not get 3dmark stable. im sure more can be done with a better motherboard, as this one limited me to 210 Bclk@215, was vista load and freeze or BSOD Bclk@220 the motherboard would freeze until i shut it down and it loaded defaults.

voltage is a wee bit high.. id work on trying to get that under 1.45v if you can get it stable under 1.45v.. but nice overclock..
 
I noticed you didn't post the temperature-- that thing will probably melt if you ran a multi-threaded app on it. Good luck
 
is it prime-stable? I think not buy hey, miracles do happen :) What's the full batch #?
 
ill be re-overclocking tonight so ill update then with temps. im using a CM V8
 
Priming with 8 threads on my CPU, which is a good batch, will hit 75* C load across all four cores. At 3.8GHz, and on 1.35v.

Your CPU must be on fire. Jesus.

Post some temps :)
 
I dont know i checked it it was at 39-50C like i said ill do it later tonight. my room gets quite chilly
 
WTF! Your lucky that thing hasnt melted all over the inside of your case.. even 1.40v is getting scary to me.. but that.. o_O

I've run mine over 1.4v, they are rated max at 1.55v.

You'll want good cooling at >1.35-1.4 though. Well, you'll want good cooling on an i7 period, but you'll want exceptional air cooling at those voltages :p
 
ya, if he ran 8 core prime, that thing would burst into flames. 1.56v on air = X_X

I'm running 4.0ghz @ 1.35 and my temps can touch 80's under 8 core prime.

Fancy new procesors. My damn Q6600 B3 would explode lol.
 
try raising your memory voltage to 1.66v and see if it will stabilize at 215 or 220 BCLK.. just one of those weird things with that motherboard..
 
I keep mine at 4ghz, only 1.31vcore, with HT hits 70c running LINX (IBT) under water! room temp around 75F
