my conroe temps

my conroe e6600 runs at 38C idle, i think that this temperture is a little bit high. i'm using Arctic Silver ceramique. should i reapply it? also my mobo is running at 48. and i haven;t overclocked either

Um, that isnt really all that bad, but it could improve. Are you using the stock cooler? If so, in the BIOS make sure the fan settings are set to 100%, that could help you a wee bit. And my ceramique paste? That stuff was great for my phase cooling projects cause of the EXTREME sub cooling it can take, but AS5 is best suited for your application. Being that your not currently OC'ed, you should be able to knock you idle temps to 30/31c by doing what I just told you.
