My computer wont start!

Okay please, I am desprate. My main rig is down! I need it bad! All I did was open it up and re arrange some power jumpers to goto my dvd rw, now trust me on this, no hardware is defective! So my computer can start and everything, like the LED's turn on, the cd drives come out, my video card fan spins BUT I cant see anything on the damn screen! I reseted the CMOS but no luck, I tryed arranging the all the wires how they where b4 i installed the dvd-rw, witch btw works because it was working earlier, the only reason i re-opened it is because I forgot to plug in the frontside LED lights. I have seen this once before, the man told me something about that all the power has to be parrallel? I dont know what that means, so can yall please tell me your thoughts, thanks! PS, I know no hardware is defective!

you may have shorted something or perhaps somehow your cpu is dammaged. will the computer post or even start bios?
