My Computer opens on boot up or login

Title says it all...and its an annoyance.
What causes this and how do I fix this so it does not continue to happen ?

Windows XP PRO SP2 all updates applied...on the ASUS box

sounds like it's in startup or the registry run key.
If not, scan for scumware.

And see what's trying to start when you boot.

OK fixed...there were 2 entries in startup of msconfig that had blank commands attached to them ??
I simply unchecked them and rebooted.

No scumware, I scan for this once per week and I'm totally clean.

Yes, i beleive I did have My Computer open once when I rebooted the system a while back.
