So it was idling at aorund 40C right? Well recently it started to like to stay at 39C a little bit more. I went to bed last night and it was sitting there at 39C and now that I wake up it has decided that it would like to idle at 35C. I appreciate it's decision.

By the way, case temp has been the same 25C the whole time.

How long have you had it ... some thermal paste takes a while to settle ... or it's just not reading the temps correctly ...

Perhaps your computer is a female, and you have offended her and she is freezing you out. Is it that time of the month?

if the case temp never changes from 25C youre not reading a sensor at all. ive seen that happen before and I think it was 25C it was at and NEVER changed.

also there are different levels of idle...just because you dont have any large app running doesnt mean its sitting still.
