my computer doesnt shut down properly. can someone please help me?

okay, here's the deal.

I have a 2.8C along with an Epox 4PDA2+ mobo that runs like a champ at 3.5Ghz.

the only problem is that when I go to shut the machine down via Windows XP, it restarts the machine instead of just shutting it down.

can anyone take a guess as to why this happens?

One thing to check would be any BIOS settings that relate to shutdown, restarting of the system, make sure you didn't accidentially enable/disable something while you were in there overclocking.
