Well Last night i was at a friends house and came home at 4:30am. Then I jumped on my computer looked at digg.com and stuff and lefted it on then went to bed.. i woke up around 11:47 and tryed to turn it on.. No luck.. so maybe the power supply is unplugged. so i checked all of that and everything.. By now i unhooked everything and opened it up.. Ekk alot of dirt. Clean that out and then just plugged the power to my power supply.. at first this little green light at the back turned on for one sec then off.. tryed a different outlet. this time HUGH Spark right near my Video Card and the ATX Power adapter on the motherboard. Then Smoking so i unplugged it fast...

Now i have no clue what do to do.. I need this computer badly cause its my job. I don't have like millions to fix i got like $400 but i need to save that.

i think it may be the ps or motherboard

If it's your job you'll have to loosen those purse strings and spend some of that $400 because it won't fix itself and computer parts aren't free. To check if the PSU is the culprit disconnect it from everything and jumper the ATX connector (light green to black) and see if the PSU powers up. If it does take a digital multi meter and read all the voltages by sticking the black probe in the black wire on a molex and probing the red, orange and yellow wires. Red is 5V, orange is 3.3V and yellow is 12V. They should all be within 5% of these voltages and pretty steady. If the PSU doesn't power up find a few 4 pin fans and an old optical drive to plug into a molex and try again. If it still won't power up it could well be dead.

If the PSU is dead you can try getting a new one and hooking it up to see if the rest of your PC is OK, if it still won't power up then it gets more complicated. If the PSU is good then it's likely that the mobo and/or something else is bad, post here after you've tested it and we'll help you go from there.

Good luck.
