I got 711 dollars commin in about 2 weeks...

What sould i get for my rig (see sig)

watercooling?
Prescott?
sell the raptors and get scsi
dvd burner?

any more good suggestions?

howabout a RET DRIPped?

that way, when something big comes out (like Tejas or whatever), you'll have a little bit *more* (little bit) saved up for it :D
 
that's a solid system not much you can really upgrade. For any large enhancement.
 
Sell your raptors? Are you sick. Unless you are running 24/7 server are you going to see a difference?

Presott won't be out in two weeks, try more like two months, so that would be a poor choice.

DVD burner, how are you backing up your files now? Also, even if you get a good one this shouldn't eat up more than about $200 bucks. I think of everything you listed this was the most useful. You will be able to back up your data easier and faster, and if you pair with a copy of some DVD coping software and subscripton to Netflicks...well...

Water cooling sounds cool and considering your budget you could do this and the DVD burner. If things don't go well, you will have to upgrade to that Prescott;)
 
From your sig, you have a fairly current system. I would bank the money, or better yet spend it on YOUR LIFE! Take yer girlfriend out for some Sliders or sumthin!!!

Or you could set up a second system and do some more folding for team 33, the [H]ardocp team!!!

Thats what I would do!
