My Asus barebones HTPC

Well here it is, an Asus Prudit-R barebones machine. Its great, i just added a second tuner card, and a new hitachi hard drive and now its ultra quiet.

2.4 Celeron
1 gig RAM
160 gig HDD
Lite-On DVD-RW drive
etc....

mmmm, i got it from the egg, and i think i paied somewhere around $200 for it since it was a barebones.

And right now on the egg its like $150

looks good. I always hated it that asus moved the optical out to the front. on the previous pundit it was in the rear.

yah, if this was hooked up to my stereo at my hosue i would be rather annoyed, but since its at my g/f's i just use the mini plug to rca convertor on the back to go into the tv. Ill have to take some pics of it in action when she is all hooked up.

im sorry i have been away on spring break all last week. Yes the onboard video works great! and i use MCE 2k5. Ill take some pictures either tonight or this weekend of the beast in action.

Its a great machine, its even better after i got the hitachi HDD, it became super quite after that!
