The LAST thing I need is to be able to see how hot my video card is...I've been checking it constantly since I got the card in LOL I prefer obliviousness!
 
why the hell would you NOT want to see the temps on your video card?
I remember falling in love w/ this feature on mf Asus GF3 back in the day.
That Asus card alerted me to my GPU cooler failing and red=flagged the
fact that it was burn-up time if I didn't power down real soon.
I dont have a 6800GT yet but imagine there is some alert tied to those temps...
