Ya i just got my new set up and my 2600+ runs really hot and i have a volcano cpu fan and it runs at like 110 almost idle so im like uhh.... but i might water cool but if any ideas or clues to my problem thx ~josh
Most people talk degrees C when referring to temps of computer components. 110 would mean certain death to your CPU if it were in degrees C, but I'm certain thats F. Sounds fine.
My P4 2.8C idles around 37.5C (right now), runs up to 50-52C under full load for extended periods of time. But i'm not sure what ambient is, pretty comfy in here right now.
