Not completely built yet, but this is my plan, anyone have any input or things I should lookout for or change?

Going to be running an OC'd E6600 on a ASUS P5W DH. My radiator will not be using the ambient air inside the case, but instead pulling air from outside the case, through a custom duct inside the PC, and then out of the top of the case. (Worklog posted Project: Savage)

Pump: MCP655/DD-D5
Rad: Black Ice GTS 240 Stealth
WB: Swiftech Storm
Reservoir: ??

No GPU Block right now, going to be using a 512MB Nvidia 7900, figure I can always add a GPU Block later if I want.

Are you going for silence or record breaking overclocking?

If you are going for massive overclocks, on that Mobo, you will want to do something about NB cooling... perhaps air cooled is the best.

This may provide some insights... http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=116587

Also the DDC 18W pump is quieter and actually performs better than the D5.

For rads, the PA120.2 is the best but also the largest. I chose the GT's for their low profile but if you want max performance, go with the PA.

The Swiftech MCRES is the best res for bleeding/silence although you may just want to try a T-Line before the pump inlet although bleeding can take days.

It will also be my first OC'd rig, so I'm not going to be going for big overclocks at first, but perhaps later down the road I'll get more aggressive depending on how confident I feel with what I am doing.

Silence is also a goal too. So I guess a good balance between OC and silence? I chose the GTS for the low profile as well. I'll have to look into the DDC 18W pump if it's quieter like you say, but I won't go with it if the price difference isn't worth it.

The DDC and Alphacool plexi top will cost about $100 together ($75 for pump and $25 for top). Jab-Tech and Petra's sell both.

Check out my post on pump's here for a lot more info... http://virtualrain.blogspot.com/

i recomending that you dont get a reservoir, instead use a t line setup.

What's the difference in running a T-line setup as opposed to a reservoir? How difficult is it to bleed and fill a T-line?

A t-line is cheaper, lighter, and less restrictive. You also don't need any extra tubing when using a t-line. Filling is easy, just pour water down a funnel attached to the t-line, and bleeding is simple. Just shake your case around for a little bit and the bubbles will be gone in less than an hour.

Ah, nevermind. I did some quick googling.

So basically the T-line just has a long piece of leftover tubing that I use as a reservoir. That actually could be pretty handy. I can run that piece of tubing all the way up to the top side of my case and make the fillport external :)
