On a Celeron 566. :D

I was throwing together another folding box. Most of the 566s I've used back in the day would do 850 without issue but hitting 1133 wasn't really an option. It's been running Prime95 for awhile now and no crashed yet.

Just thought I'd share.

Sorry running foldix. I'm not going to bother installing Windows to run CPU-Z. It's just a folding box. Maybe I'll get a bios shot tomorrow after I let Prime95 run all night.

This is about as much proof as you're going to get.

I should do a bios update so it actually recognizes it as a Celeron. Maybe I'll see how far it will really go. If I do I'll install a copy of Windows. Problem is I only have one old 128 MB stick of Mushkin memory that I know will be stable above 133 mhz.

nice.. i picked a computer off the curb a few weeks ago with a celeron 533 in it.. i got it to 600mhz by upping the fsb to 75.. and even at that, it wouldn't install windows.. it kept losing ifles.. so yeah. i am sure it is my shitty motherboard.. integrated video doesn't help either..

Well the Asus board I'm using is an old Slot-1 board. Maybe I'll break out the circa 2001 watercoolering gear and see what it can do. The heatsink really was hardly getting warm though.
