I finally finished building my rig about a week ago and decided to start overclocking. I ended up hitting 3.02 ghz with a x9 multi at 1.65v, 3x336fsb, and 216mhz for the ram at 1T. I'm very pleased with the results so far especially considering the fact that it never goes above 48c at full load. Btw, it's running at these speeds 100 percent stable according to a bunch of sandra tests and I did not bother going past 3.02ghz. Here's a pic, http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/3429/speed7se.jpg

Geez 336mhz for HTT/FSB? I think mine craps out around 320 but I got my venice @ 289 right now, same multi 9x :D and 3x ht

but thats cool! Yah that rocks, I got a 800mhz oc.

What are your superpi 512k 1Mb and 32Mb times?

I have not tried running any other benchmarking programs other than Sandra but I'll do so as soon as I can. Anyone know if 1.65v for the cpu is basically suicide? Like I mentioned before, the temps NEVER go passed 48c.

I think I would stop @ 1.65, but I'm not sure with an opteron. I'm running 1.59 right now.

I have 313 on an Asus a8n premium. Probably has more in it, but don't need it.

Mine did 320 stable. 325 woudl run, but error out in memory tests.

Thanks for all your replies! Way faster than www.dslreports.com or www.tomshardware.com that's for sure. Anyways, I'm now running the cpu at 2.85 Ghz with a voltage setting of 1.45v. I started to worry about burning up my cpu with 1.6+ volts even though I was getting great temps.

You got over 300HTT on an ASUS board?

If my Gigabyte can do 320+ stable, an Asus should definitely do that or better...

Nice OC man. 3ghz AMD club is a pretty kickass thing.

Holy, Run Prime95 overnight, if it doesnt fail see how high you can take it ;)

Also run SuperPi 1M. Im intrested as to what your score will be...
