mx700 mouse clicks noisy?

I recently got an mx700 mouse. It was kind of weird at first using this mouse and getting the feel for the weight,but now I love it.
But at night I noticed the mouse clicking is pretty loud and kind of annoying too. Is there a way to soften the clicking noise any tricks?
I previously was using a cord logitech mx310,that has a soft clicking noise.

Or maybe i need to use the mouse more often to soften the sound i guess. Perhaps I'm just too picky,did anyone notice this about this mouse eh?
 
well i got 2 MX700 mice here.

one does what yours does(used to it now though) and the other one the scroll wheel makes those noises.

if you are worried about it, take it back and get another one
