My father managed to lose the AC adapter for his Logitech MX700. I'm trying to determine the specs for the adapter (plug size and voltage) so I can find him a replacement at ratshack, but Logitech's site seems to be terribly unhelpful, at best. I -think- it may be 4.5v, but I have no way to determine for sure. Does anyone still have their MX700 manual or power brick? If you could post the output voltage from the powerbrick, and the polarity of the plug (should be noted on a diagram molded into the power brick, below the edison plug), that would be a tremendous help.

Logitech AC Adapter

Model: 190162-0000
Input: 100-127V ~0.3A
50 - 60 Hz
Output: 5.8V === 1A 5.8VA

I cant read/didn't notice the decimal point. .3 is nothing. go visit a radioshack and they can fix you up. be about $15.

I have a high quality AA charger and a spare set of batteries. I just alternate which ones are in the mouse, AC adaptor isn't even plugged in.

usually when ac adapters are rated, the rating is based on how much current they can deliver (not what they draw from the wall). the device needs 5.8v, 1A, so you'll probably need to pick up a 6v (unless they have 5.8v) ac adapter than can deliver 1A. the .3a is what the factory ac adapter draws on the ac side (120v)
