Hi I just got the mx610 that's 20ar. It's a cordless laser. It uses 2 aa batteries. I was wondering how long to expect for battery life. It came with 2 duracells but I'm going to pick up 4 aa nimh's to use since I imagine they won't last long.
Also, my operating system is win2k3 and for some reason the latest software/drivers from the logitech website won't install properly. And there seems to be some sort of "smoothness" effect which makes playing cs or any fps for the fact impossible. I still resort to my 2dollar mouse to do the job until I can figure it out. It smoothes all the movements so that you slowly move to the target. And if you whip it too fast, it whips the character all over the place, and by the time you've stabalized yourself, you be dead already.
