MX5500 mouse problem

Hi everyone. I'm having trouble with my mouse (the MX Revolution bluetooth version that came with my MX5500 keybd/mouse combo set). Basically, I can't press the left button while holding down the right one; it doesn't register as a click. For example, in Mass Effect, the right mouse button zooms in, and the left one shoots. I can't shoot while zoomed in, even though I know you are supposed to be able to do that in the game. BTW, I have the Setpoint software installed. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? Thanks.

EDIT: Umm, okay, never mind. Restarting Windows fixed the problem. I thought I didn't have this problem in other games.
