MX518 Thumb Buttons!!!

[font=verdana, arial, helvetica]With my old Mirosoft Intelli 4 mouse, I set the Rocket Launcher to mouse 5 (thumb button 1) and the link gun to mouse 6 (thumb button 2)

I now have a Logitech MX518 but when I try and assign the thumb buttons in the UT2004 settings for RL and Link, UT doesnt recognize the buttons.

I want the thumb buttons to go back and forward when im browsing the internet, I find this useful. But on UT it doesnt recognize the forward and back.

If I set the thumb buttons to page up and page down then UT understands this and the thumb buttons work but of course when I go back onto firefox or IE, the back and forward dont work, the screen just goes up and down because Ive set the buttons as page up and page down.

I want the thumb buttons to go back and forward in Windows, but I want them to change to another command so I can use them in UT2004, how would I do this?

ALT+Left goes back and ALT+Right goes forward, ive assigned the thumb buttons to these command, but UT reads them as LEFT and RIGHT which is what I use for movement.

Thanks for the link, but it doesnt say it supports MX518 mice, do you know if it does?

Why doesnt Logitech Set Point have this feature? IntelliPoint for Microsoft has it, this doesnt.

I fixed it now.

All you have to do, is set the thumb buttons to Generic and they work in both UT and Windows.
