Mx510

One of my favorite things about my '500 is the fact that it's molded for the right hand, and not symmetrical—my hand doesn't get along that great with the MX310, and I imagine it won't with the MX510.

Seriously, mousing isn't a natural function—if you're left-handed, deal with it. I have to do a lot of left-handed keyboarding when I eat, because I use chopsticks right-handed; I don't complain about needing a "right-handed" keyboard.

From what I can tell of those pics, it looks JUST like the MX500 sitting on my desk, as far as form goes, not symetrical. Being left handed, I couldn't imagine trying to use those buttons with my pinky/index finger

I saw them at my local BB here in Oklahoma City yesterday. Pretty cool ass looking if you ask me. I'd buy it, but my MX500 isn't even a year old.

well i'll just shoot out to bb and pick one up. i just purchased an mx310 (i am lefty) and it seems to have stopped working. don't know if that's good or bad?

b&m only huh, crap.

Let's see some nice pics when you get it...I want it, btu that red bothers me!

Available at my local BestBuy (St. Louis, MO).

My 2 cents.

I had the MX300 and it worked well, but I had been pining for more buttons. Button envy? ;)

Works very well. The scroll wheel is a little stiffer than the MX300, but not enough to be bothersome. I really like the two quickscroll buttons next to the scroll wheel. Logitech calls them the "Cruise Up" and "Cruise Down". Basically, hitting them is like scrolling x lines at a time. You can select the number of lines to scroll in the Control Panel.

The control panel software works well and I have had no problems using all the buttons in the UT2004 Demo. Now, if I could just learn to love the Lightning Gun...

thos emice are sold exclusively at Best Buy. THere is also a blue color version. IM personally looking at that razer viper as it the same price.

I got the red one at my best buy (I work there) about 2 weeks ago. Believe me, big difference between that and my Logitech Optical Mouse in BF42 :p

i upgraded to the mx510 from the mx500 and i CAN notice the difference. Quicker response and smoother, and believe me i had my doubts about a noticable difference. i really didn't think the mx500 could be improved upon, boy was i wrong. is it worth dishing out 40-50 bucks to replace the mx500? For most, no. but if you have to have the best, yes. but it could be upgraded fro free, DEFINITLY! .......internals swap...... MUAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA. plus the red wasn't appealing to me so swapping the internals and returning was just too enticing..... mx500 shell with upgraded 510 internals for free......MUAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA

That mouse looks trippy. Will it be available in different colors.

Yeah, they are going to have psychedelic blue too.

sweet, i'd consider switching from my mx700 for a l337 blue mouse :p

Word...Blue would look much better than this flashy red...

Anyone know when the blue mx510s are gonna come out?

I just bought the Red MX510 at BestBuy (they had about 5 left), they didnt know about any blue ones. Maybe i'll check the other BestBuy around me.
