MX1000 Mouse on LX700?

Is it safe to recharge an MX1000 Mouse on an LX700 charger cradle? It seems to charge alright when I tried it, but the voltages on the receivers and the mice are different...

I was just wondering, because now they have that new logitech set that uses an mx1000 and the lx700 keyboard...

If the output voltage and amperage of the chargers is exactly the same, there shouldn't be any problem with it. If they differ at all, you could fry your mouse/charger.

I wouldn't risk it... the MX1000 is a pricey mouse; I wouldn't charge mine on anything but its included cradle.

Does the LX700 have the capability to use the MX1000's cradle... or vice-versa? Just wondering...
