MX1000 Middle Mouse Button... breaks...

I'm on my 3rd mouse in 2 years. The MMB fails after 10~11 months, Logitech just sent out another one (came in Thursday). Has anyone had this problem?

Has anyone taken the G7 appart? That middle wheel of steel sounds like it'd hold up to hours of Photoshop, Lightwave and Maya (They use MMB a lot...). And if it's as sturdy as it looks, I'll give the MX1000 to the wife.

Not an MX 1000, but my Razer Viper middle button does the same thing..Im also on my 3rd one in 2 years......I need a better mouse or a more delicate finger

I thought I was the only one!

I've had 2 MX1000's middle mouse buttons break and I'm on my third MX1000... it still scrolls, but it no longer function as a button.

The good part is logitech will replace it for free if you are under warranty.

I just have them in a drawer, in case someone needs it. It's not like I have anything to loose with Logitech's stellar warranty. I'll order a G7 in November.
