Currently, I'm the owner of the Logitech MX Duo Combo. It's their MX700 mouse with the pro keyboard.

Now, I've searched Logitech's page and can't find an answer. Been waiting on the mail I sent it to them but figured someone here might know.

Does the MX DUO Combo's keyboard sync with the MX1000's base station? I had one of the older set's keyboards and it wouldn
't connect with the MX700's base.

Or, anyone heard of a combo comming out with the MX1000 and some keyboard?

please don't take this as my final answer,
but yes... I have READ that the base station from the mx700 works with the mx1000 (and vice-versa). In fact the charging pins are the same so you should be able to charge your 1000 on the 700 base also. (I just tried mine and it fit fine).

I would imagine that the keyboard would work with the new station too, but I can't check for you because I never bothered to get a wireless keyboard - Sorry

I have both as well and I happened to have the elite microsoft keyboard duo. I learned that the keyboard with the mx duo doesn't work with the the receiver but the old receiver does work with the mx1000. But in the end I just gave my mxduo kit to my dad. I had gotten it for 39 dollars.. don't ask lol. And took the ms keyboard wireless and the receiver and use that with the mx1000. It actually works cool cause the ms keyboard has the tilt scrolling wheel on the keyboard lol.

Best of both worlds. Of course not everyone has the scratch to get that type of setup. :)

The MX1000 will work with the MX Duo's mouse charging station; receive a signal and charge itself. The MX700 will work with the MX1000's station but only for the signal; it won't charge itself due to the design. The MX700 won't fit properly in the MX1000's charger.

I'm running the MX Duo and I've got my MX1000 running off the MX DUO charging station. it charges it and everything.

So to have everything work you use the Duo KB, MX1000 mouse, and Duo base station?

Yep, and this is exactly what I have now.

MX Duo Keyboard and base + MX1000 mouse.

I have the cordless elite duo keyboard combo. The base on it is the old receiver style, since the mouse isn't the a chargable one. If I purchase the MX1000 laser mouse, would the keyboard that I have sync with the MX1000 laser mouse's receiver. I appreciate the help, thanks.
