MW2 Problems

I'm getting a direct x error after I play a couple of games. I don't know exactly what it says but when I play the game again I will edit the post.

3800+ x2
GTS 250
2gb crucial value ram
Fresh install of Win 7 32-bit

check your Event Viewer to see if it lists the error, it might or might not

then run dxdiag and see if that helps you locate the problem

have you updated your drivers lately?

dxdiag or event viewer didn't show anything.

I have the latest nVidia drivers.

it could be your video settings
go to options>video>advanced video and on the last setting (must have texture quality set to manual) look for "specular map resolution". be sure its on high and not extra. if that fails then set the rest of the settings to high if you have them on extra. if that fails as well set the anti-aliasing to 2x if you currently have it at 4x.
