Mushkin RAM questions

Ok, first off I have a Gigabyte GA-7VAXP. Second I'm going to buy a m2600+. So for the ram, the owners manual says I can run a 333MHZ FSB chip but not a 400MHz chip. It also says that I can run DDR400 RAM. Now my real question is, should I buy Mushkin level 1 DDR400 or opt for the level 2 DDR333? What is the difference between the lv2 DDR333 and the lv1 DDR400? I'm not planning on overclocking anything right away but would like to leave my options open for the future. Thanks for any help guys.

The Level 2 DDR333 uses Mushkin's best quailty PCB and has tighter latency timings. The Level 1 DDR400 has a lower quailty PCB and looser latency timings. Which translate's into lower overall RAM quailty. I would get the L2 PC2700, especially since your board dosent support 400 FSB CPU's. The PC2700 L2 should be able to hit 400 FSB if you need to, but that's really going to be up to your board.

AGREED

The fact that it's like $100 over it's closest competitor could be a factor. Same reason most don't buy pc power&cool psu's even tho they're the best, cost prohibitive.
