mushkin psu

Well, 4 12V rails is interesting. And at 20A each it is pretty impressive, although we don't have the combined wattage of these rails. At 70-75% efficiency their are better options. Anyway, their are no reviews, so I wouldn't jump on this one just yet.

It says right on the label 12V 44A max. so that's like 11A per rail. Not impressive per rail but nothing to scoff at either.

If it just wasn't so damned ugly I'd say it was "the" killer buy. Talk about generic looking.

My point is that that thread is dying and that the mushkin psu wasn't officially released. All those details and specs were rumors.

There are four +12V rails, each rated for a maximum of 20A, but the combined rating of all four rails is 44A.

What do they mean by "rail fusion"?

RailFusion responds to increased loads by automatically combining the +12V rails, providing ample power for mulit-GPU systems.

Why not just have a single +12V rail rated for 44A?
