Whater's goin on at Fermi smelled portant enough to spew video bout it

To the benchmarks:
Standard Model Predicts: 18.1
Brookhaven Measured: 20.9 (earlier)
Fermi Measured: 20.4 (now)

I call BS on neglecting to state wether a high or low score wins.

I don't think we should be breaking out he champagne just yet. But potentially discovering a new force in particle physics is huge. They're going to be gathering more data on this over the next 3 years when the LHC is back up and running.

Oh DAMN YOU Science...how soon we forget...... 9045b79452c0e8187f451c1ab0e6e6a0.jpg

I've been a lover of science my whole life, but as we get deeper into the labyrinthine depths of particle physics, I become less excited about the discoveries themselves and more interested in their potential practical applications. Without new practical applications this all just insanely complicated math, which only a tiny portion of the population finds exciting in itself.

I think additional physical dimensions is the simplest explanation for all this dark matter hoohockey. Us flatlanders just don't have the ability to make sense of it.
