Hi guys I have been looking for a monitor lately and I was at futureshop yesterday and noticed the NEC 90GX2 and I have to say I was pretty impressed with the picture quality and compared to the rest of what they had on display its colours and images were really nice looking, not sure if it's the coating on the screen but either way i was impressed.
I never considered NEC when searching for a new monitor as I never knew much about them but after seeing this one i was pretty impressed with the picture that I am looking into them.
The one thing i didn't like about the 19 inch i saw on display is it's not widescreen and that seems to be the way the games and stuff are going so i looked online and bestbuy has the 20 inch widescreen version 20WMGX2 but its a lot more expensive, I believe the 19 inch is in the $360 range and the 20 inch is like $699 but has tv tuner etc and has .25 instead of .29 that the 19 inch has, so basically are these monitors good to consider and worth that kind of money for the 20 inch or should i stick to looking at the Asus pw201 or save the money and go with the 19 inch NEC for half the price but not widescreen?
I am hooked on these glossy screens now though they just seem so vibrant compared to the anti glare ones i find.
