Due to changes over the past two years in general processor design, I believe the name is getting outdated. Possibly workstation and server forum?
 
A good suggestion....with the proliferation of dual and quad cores becoming commonplace, it has kind of lost it's original purpose. I'll make sure it gets passed on.:)

Yep, I think it should remain a discussion forum for heavy-duty multi-socket rigs and the assorted information that comes with that (memory banks, NUMA, matching procs, chipset/mobo design, PCI/e/X performance etc.).

Explain that to everyone here. There are an average of four posters in that forum while there are at the minimum dozens everywhere else.
