So the other day I got my hand on 2 17" monitors. My plan is to use both in combination with my 19" viewsonic monitor. Right now I have a 9800XT and I can hook up the viewsonic and one of the 17" monitors. So my plan is to by an ATI PCI card and connect it to the other 17". Then I guess I will try a program like Ultramon or something like that to set up my desktop. I guess I am looking for info from someone who has done this before. I am assuming that I will only be able to use the 3 monitors for desktop work (no games). Also, I saw someone that had a nice big background that fit across all three montiors. I am wondering if they are actually made for this type of display or if they are modified from normal backgrounds. If anyone has a link to a good site or sticky that talks about this I would greatly apreciate it. I did a google but didn't get too much. Thanks for the help.
