If you have 2 nvidia based video cards and they are in SLi, does that mean you can connect 4 monitors to them? I know you can hook 2 up if a single video card has 2 outputs (VGA/DVI or combo of either) but wasn't sure about SLi. Can someone clarify? Thanks

Depends if those are geforce cards or Quadro cards. Currently, nVidia has limited the consumer drivers (in more then one way) for Scalable Link Interfaces, so that only the commercial (and higher priced) hardware may utilize multiple displays. Mostly, it all comes down to marketting.

there's gotta be a way around that like a driver or something...
Flash your GeForce card with a Quadro BIOS and iinstall Quadro drivers...

No idea what effect that would have on games though.
