Multiple Monitor Problem

I have a Radeon HD 4890 with two DVI outputs, and am running Windows 8.1 Professional.

I have a widescreen LCD attached to the first port, and a regular 19 inch VGA/DVI monitor attached to the 2nd port.

However, when I run Windows with "Extend my desktop to the 2nd display" settings (or whatever the option is labeled), it makes me move the mouse off the screen to the right and not to the left, and the 2nd monitor is located on my left-hand side.

To make things more clear:
- Primary monitor is in front of me
- Second monitor is to my left
- I have to scroll off the screen to the right (on the primary monitor) to access the 2nd monitor (which is to my left).

As you can probably see, the problem is that I want to scroll off the screen to the left, which I can't.

I tried reversing the monitor inputs on the back of the video card so that Windows would see them differently, but it insists on the monitor directly in front of me being #1. I tried checking "make this my primary desktop", but either way, it still makes me scroll to the right to access the 2nd monitor. Also, the same is true for the 2nd monitor (the one to my left) except it's reversed (you have to scroll off the screen to the left, to access the primary monitor in front of me).

I tried everything, and figured it was just me missing something... but I've been playing around with it for hours and it's not letting me ever scroll the way you would want to scroll (in the direction of whatever the other screen is).

Anyone have the same issues, ever?

Thanks... any help would be appreciated,

Nevermind... I just found the answer to this problem here. Guess I should've Google'd first.

You just drag and drop the monitors so whichever one is one the side you want. I know I'm not the only one who never realized that...

Seriously though... how about a tool-tip or something, Microsoft?

Thanks anyways.
