Multiple Linksys AP's - any utiilty to lock onto a specific MAC?

If there are multiple "Linksys" APs in an area, is there a utility that will let me lock onto a specific "Linksys" router via the MAC address of that specific router? I know the latest Intel ProSet software will let you do it, but I don't have an Intel chipset. And the built in Windows XP wireless config won't let you lock into a specific AP. Any generic utility that will let you do this? Thanks.

Tis always best to change the default SSID on your router..make your own SSID unique.
