this one has LEDs on board, or you can hookup extra LEDs through 2-pin connectors like motherboards have. I got some of these, email me at eipromb"at"rogers.com if you want more info.
You can tap the activity indicator from the Serial ATA controller chip on the hard drive, or on the motherboard (if the chip isn't in a BGA package). You'll have to check the pin diagram by referencing the Serial ATA controller datasheet. I wish I knew of a more elegant way to accomplish this, but I don't.Drunkinsquirl said:still no sata![]()
Yeah, simply not worth the effort.
