I used to have multiple monitors but I found it to be more of a distraction. I'd mainly only use it when playing wow anyway to browse the web but now that I've gotten away from MMO games , I don't find a need for it. fast paced FPS and RTS games are only hindered by using the web on my second monitor and it ends up sitting unused...

I think one bigger and/or better monitor is best rather than having two, especially since I really don't use the second... it was nice to have but it just got annoying after a while...

anyone else on the same page as me or am I just weird?

You're just weird :)

Mind you I'm hardly an unbiased opinion as I have 7 monitors :D

You are weird mate. Ever since going 2 monitors, the ammount of monitors I uae have sky rocketed. You may want to try 3 in eyefinity or surround. It expands your fov in fps, though it has limited use in rts. I think supreme commander could use 2 monitors effectively, one for the main play field and one as a giant map.

I think the bezels are distracting. I'd much rather have one gigantic surround monitor that would resemble a bezel-less 3x2 4k configuration with 11520x4320 resolution.

You're weird buddy. I went from a single 24" to three 22" and then a single 27" then to three 24" in portrait. I feel that single monitor isn't that great unless it's a 1600p or 2160p and I'd not settle just for one again.

XiP I agree with you. bezels kill gaming using 2 or more monitors, even on three...one big one is the way to go... if you run two, you won't be using the other to browse the web or watch a movie while gaming unless it's an mmo. It's cool to have, but I don't see the point... much rather have one giant surround monitor if going for multimon gaming.
