Multiple computers, one monitor simultaneously?

No KVM - I'm wondering if there's a monitor or gadget that allows one to simultaneously display multiple computer's output on one monitor. For example, if there are four machines running some apps, have one monitor display each output in 1/4 of the screen - so a 24" 1920x1200 monitor shows four 11" 960x600 displays.

I realize there's some capability for two machines with PIP, but I'm thinking along the lines of more than two with all using identical inputs (e.g. all DVI vs PIP's using one DVI plus one VGA for example).

Does such a thing exist? At a reasonable price?

I thought of that sort of software solution after posting.

That may be the easiest/cheapest.
