I need an upgrade over my Epson RX500. It's gotten pretty flaky and drivers suck. So time for something new an improved.
I'd like something that will do 8.5x11 as well as the 3x5 and 4x6 sizes (rx500 doesn't). 11x17 would be a nice feature as well, but not necessary.
The Brother MFC-5890CN does it, but not sure how great it is on pictures.
Printing pictures and doing quality scans and printing of photos is the biggest need. It will be used as an everyday printer as well. But the photo printing needs to be good as my wife prints out a lot of stuff for family.
Any suggestions? Doesn't have to be wireless, but that would be nice. Also price under $300 ($200 range is better).

I'm a bit soured on Epson due to my troubles the last couple of years with the RX500, but am willing to stick with them if the product is good. Also have hated Lexmark for years. Not sure if they have a decent product now.
